I’ve always loved cruising, it is such a great experience. The best food, entertainment and activities you can find plus amazing service and beautiful staterooms (that sometimes you just don’t want to leave). And all this as you cruise around to various ports of call, allowing you to see so much more of the world than you would by going to an all-inclusive. Or with more ease than a coach tour or self-drive.

I am very pleased to be part of the ilovecruising.com team. Reading the stories or reviews our clients share with us is a highlight each and every day. And making sure our visitors have access to the best deals available and the best team of cruise specialists, ensures you will love cruising too!

Why do I love cruising? I love the fact that you get to see multiple destinations … the entertainment is always top notch and well who could leave out the food?

What has been my favourite cruise? A transatlantic voyage aboard the Queen Mary 2 with Cunard

Favourite cruise destinations? South America, the Caribbean, Europe and river cruising anywhere!

Favourite cruise lines? Celebrity, Princess, Holland America, Oceania and Uniworld

Favourite cruise booking for a client? I had the privilege of booking a group to South America – it was amazing.  They had a wonderful time and I really learned a lot about South America in the process.

~ River Cruising as I was the top sales agent for Uniworld at Vision Travel

Why do I love cruising? I love that I don’t have to pack and unpack to tour. I love that all of my meals are included on the ship and sometimes wine/alcohol depending on the ship. This definitely helps with budgeting. Plus the staff all speak English unlike some exotic place where it can be challenging.

What has been my favourite cruise? Rhone & Soane rivers. Then the Rhine

Favourite cruise destinations? Europe – some many different ways to see the most popular cities of Europe while you are cruising!

Favourite cruise lines? Oceania Cruises, Silversea Cruises, AMA Waterways, Scenic River cruises

Favourite cruise booking for a client? I did a Holland America sailing for very good clients back in Dec 2007. This was my very first Virtuoso Voyage booking. The exclusive event was in Argentina at a gaucho rancho with lunch. My clients were so taken with this trip. They still rave about it!

Do you have any cruise specialties? River cruises are my thing. I love Europe. I love using a river cruise as one component of the trip and building around that. I also enjoy ocean cruises in Europe for the same reason.

I have been a Travel Agent for over 30 years. The last 19 years I have focused on promoting cruises to my clients, as individuals or as groups.

I have cruised on many cruise lines throughout the years, especially on Holland America, Celebrity Cruises & Princess Cruise Lines.  My knowledge & expertise of all cruise lines is quite extensive as I have made it a point to visit most ships when they are launched. As well as exploring many destinations over the years.

I am quite lucky to have such loyal clients that I service and welcome any new referrals.

Why do I love cruising? I like the fact that you wake up in a new destination every morning having only unpacked once. You can be assured of great service and meals, something I have never been able to replicate with an all inclusive or land product. In my opinion cruising is the best value for your vacation dollar!

What has been my favourite cruise? It’s really hard to answer that, I enjoyed my Uniworld River Cruising on the Danube and on the Rhine, Paul Gauguin in French Polynesia, Un-Cruise on the Sea of Cortez, Silversea circumnavigating the British Isles. How can I choose?

Favourite cruise destinations? Europe on a river cruise, British Isles, Mediterranean, Baltic, French Polynesia, Sea of Cortez, Hawaii, Australia/New Zealand, Galapagos, Trans-Atlantic, Amazon, Asia. The list goes on and on, it really is just a fabulous way to see any destination.

Favourite cruise lines? I have a special relationship with Uniworld, they are my go to line for the Classical Music groups I put together. I also like Silversea, Regent, Oceania, Cunard, Seabourn, and Paul Gauguin. For the more adventurous traveller UnCruise, Aqua Expeditions and Lindblad.

Favourite cruise booking for a client? I had client book a Uniworld Danube River Cruise last year, it was their first time cruising. The husband went kicking and screaming, he had absolutely no interest in going and only agreed to keep his wife happy. They came back and immediately contacted me to book them on a 15 night river cruise from Paris, they are sailing in July!

For my luxury clients I love being able to offer the Virtuoso Exclusive Excursion, they come back time and time again raving about it! Clients can take the shipboard credit instead but that will be long forgotten years down the road. You will however, remember the exclusive excursion you received for booking with me! One of my Regent Cruise clients came into an Italian port on Easter Sunday. All of the excursions booked through the ship were cancelled due to the holiday, only those people who were Virtuoso guests got to go on an excursion that day. She told me when they arrived back on board other guests were coming up to them asking why they got to do an excursion? She said she felt very special that she was included in the Virtuoso group and appreciated it.

Do you have any cruise specalities? When I first started selling travel I worked for a cruise only travel company for 13 years and only sold cruises, I have taken most of the certification programs offered by cruise lines and and after cruising almost 50 times I’d say cruising is my specialty! Plus I love to be able to provide personalized options & tips for clients who want to really get to see the ports in the short amount of time they are there. But if I have to pin point some specialties it would be

~ Group cruises
~ Luxury cruises
~ River cruising
